Tile Update

So. We asked that a "higher power" come and look at our tile (they only asked for pictures and we figured it would be better off if they came to look at it themselves. You know, to really get the full effect of TETRIS floor!). The guy stopped by this morning and was in shock of how terrible our floors are! He said "I cant believe you guys are so calm!"... to which we explained about the dresser and the flooding and the mattress ( Read more about this here) and told him that we are getting used to disasters and are able to take them as they come and take them in a calm manner.

The "higher power" said that they are going to go ahead and remove all the tile that has been laid down (due to three different colors of tile, installer did not level entire surface, and a bad install all around) and start all over again. I am super stoked about this.... but deep down inside I am not looking forward to more construction and having the entire house in disarray. Not to mention that this is going to be a festival of super loud noises and heaps of dust! So Cameron, Mr. Man (Andre) and I will have to spend a few (probably like 4 or 5 days) chillin somewhere else.

This afternoon Aaron, Cameron and I are going to pick out some new tile! ...And it starts all over again! The task of picking something out that is semi permanent. Something you have to live with for a long time. Something that the next people in your house will have to like and live with! So much PRESSURE! I don't do well under pressure! AHHH!!! (J/K)
